Today's opening of the portal to register families under the Ehsaas Rahan program
On Monday, the web portal for Ehsaas Rashan beneficiaries registration will be available.
In an interview with APP, Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection stated this.
She stated that the program will allow buyers with monthly incomes less than 31,000 rupees to purchase flour, pulses, cooking oil, or ghee at subsidized rates at designated Kiryanas or utility shops.
She stated that the government would encourage these merchants by giving them profit on subsidy amounts to motivate them to serve more people.

LIHEAP provides financial assistance to eligible Arkansas residents for summer utilities.
ARKANSAS (USA) -- The application period to the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program will open on July 25.
This program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, helps residents who are eligible to receive financial assistance for their summer utilities.
Income and household size determine eligibility. Officials state that a single person with a maximum monthly income of $219, and a family with three or more would be eligible.

03Head Start Program modifications made to assist more families
LEE COUNTY FL -- To make it easier for families who want to apply, the Lee County School District has made changes to its Head Start Program.
A family that has a child receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programme (SNAP), will be eligible for the Head Start Program. This was made possible by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Applications are accepted Monday through Friday at 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Early Childhood Center.
